Description:
Interview with Carol Smith, the Founder of Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue. An emaciated, half blind American Bulldog is enjoying a new lease of life thanks to Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue. Barney, stumbled onto a remote farm late one evening, paws bleeding, his eyes so ulcerated they were literally stuck together, he was painfully thin and starving. Although a stray, he immediately came into the care of the Rescue so that urgent veterinary treatment could begin immediately. As a small self funding independent charity, we see far too many cases like Barney. The grant from the Kennel Club Charitable Trust gave us the help we needed to continue caring for the Herefordshire stray dogs and allowed us to carry on with our low cost neutering programme.
