A video with pictures of where I was born and raised in eastern Kentucky and eastern Tennessee. I did this in remembrance of all those who suffer in Appalachia and continue to struggle for survival. My grandfather started mining coal before he was 10 years old in the late 1920s. One of the pictures is actually from West Virginia. I love this song. I think Patty Loveless does it best. View this is a reminder that even in the most powerful nation in the world, living is a daily fight for survival....
