Noah's Flood created Grand Canyon
National Park service has been told by Bush to say "No Comment" when asked how old the Grand Canyon is
The Grand Canyon
Before the Grand Canyon became a National Park native Americans lived here for at least 4000 years. The Puebloan people, Anasazi (Hisatsinom), Hopi, Hualapai (Grandk Canyon West = Skywalk) and the largest native people of America: the Navajo (east of the Grand Canyon) to name just a few. Special thanks to Bernd for recording the Colorado river from the edge of Plateau Point PAST the guard rail. I learned later that most fatal falls from the rim and within the Canyon do account to such behavior.

Grand Canyon Rescue
ANCHOR: US rescue crews airlift nearly 300 people from a remote village in the Grand Canyon after the Redland's dam burst. The damn burst as a result of heavy raining for the past several days. Here's more on the story. STORY: Most people who live near the Redlands dam have been affected by the flood. It's unclear when the residents who are staying at a
local shelter will be allowed to return to their homes. The area, accessible only by foot, horseback, or by air, is home to about 400
members of the Havasupai tribe. The Redlands dam is on Havasu Creek. The
creek feeds the Colorado River, which runs through the Grand Canyon. After the
dam burst, people were flown out of the area and then taken on buses to shelters. Some hiking
trails and footbridges have been washed away and trees have been uprooted.
