 | Modern Armitage Shanks Bowl with Dudley Tri-Shell Cistern These toilets are located at Loughborough Grand Central Railways station. I was slightly dissapointed with this one. They bowls are all modern armitage Shanks and so are the urinals. But the cisterns are all old. All cisterns for the toilets are Dudley Tri-Shell's. They give good flushes. All the toilets sounded good but it didn't feel right having modern bowls and urinals but old decor, sinks, bins, piping, lights, windows etc. |
 | 'The Lion, the New Improved Washdown Closet' This one I had to sneak into the ladies for, again at Grand Central Railways. It's called 'The Lion, the New Improved Washdown Closet' the cistern is amazingly high. It has a twisted pipe too. The pressure and sound are great too. This one doesn't have a hole over the logo like 'The Simplicitas'. If you listen, further to the end of the flush there is loads of little 'climaxes' just like one of Marco's toilet videos. This is truly another great toilet. Sorry for the dark video, the lighting ... |

 | Grand Central HST 125 Coupled To Another Grand Central 125 The day previous to this video being taken, a GC HST had broken down at Biggleswade. My partner who works in Network Rail Control, decided to couple the broken one to the working one. Never before been done with buffers!He went over to York Station at around 12.50am to catch a glimpse of his handy work ;) |

 | The Great Central Railway. My first visit to the Great Central Railway on our way back south, made up well for the disapointment that the NYMR left me with days previously. In action were GCR 04, which I must admit is a very nice engine, and personal favourite 850 'Lord Nelson', which had just returned to traffic after heavy boiler repairs. So, perfect all round. We took the '04' from Loughborough to Leicester North and back, the outward run only being captured. I forgot to take my tripod so all shots are handheld.... |
