 | Mt. Rainier 1 day climb Friday night found Larry ,Terry and myself attempting a one-day summit of Mt. Rainier via the DC route. We left paradise at 8:05pm arrived at Camp Muir at 11:00pm. Then we left Muir at 12:20 and summated at 4:50. We spent an hour on top and then took 2hr's to get back to Camp Muir. The climb started out nice but about 2:30 the weather moved in. It was cold on top and windy, with white out conditions on the way down. |
