The following is a letter that I have composed, and hope to soon send it to leaders of the Republican Party. I myself am a literal card-carrying member of the RNC, but I have seen what has been happening to my party, and I am not happy. If you agree with this letter, I encourage you to sign your name in your comments as a type of petition, make response videos adding things that you believe are also important for the Republican Party, and send this video to your Conservative friends and political leaders you may know. The letter is as follows: Republican National Committee 310 First Street SE Washington, D.C. 20003 United States of America Dear Republican Party, Our party came into being over one hundred fifty-four years ago; and was founded on moral, economic, and social higher-ground, and for many decades thereafter was able to guide these States along Conservative principles. Due to our past work, this nation has foregone the socio-Liberal horrors of Fascism, Nazism, Socialism, and Communism, each of which has brought untold horrors to Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa. We've fought, supporting individualism for our people, capitalism for our economy, and God as our only sovereign judge. All of these things we have done for the betterment of our society and culture; but as I travel these lands, see our States, and speak to our people, I feel the sense of disarray and misdirection that has gripped those we have pledged to serve. I have come to the grand realization which is on the minds and tongues of all true Conservatives, and has been for years: Our party has failed in its principles and endeavors, we have become that which we once despised, and because of this, failed our own conscience. We were to be the antithesis to our Democrat counterparts, a counterbalance to their lack of restraint in their endless Liberal pursuit of more power for the government, and less for the people. We were to be the ones who kept true to the Constitution, true to keeping a new holocaust of unborn children from occurring every year, to keeping Free Market Capitalism alive, and to keep Patriotism as more than just a hollow word. As a party, we must reevaluate ourselves; not so that we can move to the proverbial center, but so that we can reaffirm our beliefs in original Conservative values, so that we can espouse the dignity and worth of each American life. If we want to help our citizens, if we truly care about their wellbeing and health, then we need to ensure that the government is as far away from their lives as possible, while still keeping order and sensible law. We must return to our base principles; we must never sacrifice that which makes us who we are in an attempt to find a "middle ground." We must oppose Socialism, Collectivism, Sexual Perversions, Immorality, Communism, and all manner of evils. We must have faith in ourselves, in our beliefs, and in our own values. If we do this, we will never need to compromise with others, for we will always be in the right. This is not an option; this must be done, or we will cease to exist as a party, and eventually as a people. It was Ronald Reagan who found the best words for it: "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children what it was once like in the United States when men were free." God rest his soul, but he would be disgusted by what we have become. When did we sell our souls for power? Our virtues for gain? If we continue on this course, we will become nothing more than the hundreds of great civilizations before us. If you want a unified party, if you want a unified front, if you want a unified nation; then return to the politics of our former leaders. We, the citizens of these United States, for the support of this open letter to the Republican National Committee and all members thereto, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor; and we hold the aforementioned truths to be evident in and of themselves.
