![]() | Invisibility a Reality? Scientists say they are a step closer to developing materials that could render people and objects invisible. (Aug. 11) |
![]() | Real invisibility cloak I found this video a few years ago on a japanese website. It shows an experimental cloaking device. Can you guess how it works? |
![]() | Invisibility Cloak Findings at Duke University A team led by scientists at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering has demonstrated the first working "invisibility cloak." The cloak deflects microwave beams so they flow around a "hidden" object inside with little distortion, making it appear almost as if nothing were there at all. |
![]() | Invisibility Cloak TEST Just messin around again with some special effects........gettin ready for the move!! coming out this summer!! ![]() | KTLA on the Street: Invisibility Cloak One Step Closer Scientists have developed a material--on a nano scale--that can bend light to make objects disappear. They say the development brings them one step closer to creating an invisibility cloak. KTLA asks: what would you do with an invisibility cloak? |
![]() | Optical Camouflage (Invisible Cloak) PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU COMMENT. One of the labs in the University of Tokyo uploaded some interesting videos several years ago, so I compiled them. This technology involves neither chroma-keying nor photoshopping but is "quasi-invisivility" using a specific fabric and projector. ![]() | Optical Camouflage A professor at the University of Tokyo has created an optical camouflage system that makes anyone wearing a special reflective material seem to disappear. Here's how: a video camera records the real-life scenery behind the subject, transmits that image to a front-mounted projector, which then displays the scene on the reflective material. This idea is very simple. If you project background image onto the masked object, you can observe the masked object just as if it were virtually transparent. |
