Best Horn action so far. Three BNSF locos #1089(C44-9W) #5407(C44-9W) and #5315(C44-9W) lead a mixed freight train out of Pueblo's yard into Pueblo Junction. This train was a southbound that entered the west end of Pueblo Yard and must travel through the yard to get to Pueblo junction on the east side of the yard he could have continued south or gone east this one headed east for La Junta CO. Sorry for the shake at a few points one was due to the Sheriff pulling up behind me but he let me be I was at a crossing so not trespassing. This is my first train video ever so any suggestions for improvement are very welcome.

NS container train at Jacob's Crossing from behind the wheel
Sometimes you get lucky, I was on my way to take some pictures of something unrelated when the crossing gates went into action here along Rt. 22, so I pulled out my camera and caught a westbound NS/BNSF lashup with a container consist. Sound is iffy in the beginning, but gets better at the end. There's an expansion joint in the rails just to the right of the crossing gate, so there's always plenty of wheel noise at this crossing.
9.5 Inches in Pueblo, Colorado
We prayed for snow or rain after several months of NO precipitation. On March 27th, 2009 we had received 9.5 inches and it was still coming down. Pueblo's normal annual rainfall is about 11 inches. This "wet" snow equals about 3" of rainfall. So we received about 25% of our entire annual rainfall in just a 24 hour period.

Southbound BNSF Warm Springs Turn on UP rails in Berkeley
Southbound BNSF Warm Springs Turn on Union Pacific Martinez Sub rails in Berkeley at the Camelia St grade crossing. Nice to see this train making good time. No problems accelerating with 6000hp on the point. I usually catch this train on local rails in Richmond where it is held down to 10mph or less.
Railfanning Drivin Around @ Night in Pueblo
I was bored Wednesday 4/22/09 so I went for a drive took the camera and the scanner with me I started to get tons of chatter about Pueblo Jct. so I headed down to check it out and there was a nice bottle neck forming up there. A UP coming south on the northbound main had to make a set out and blocked the northbound main for atleast an hour a southbound three loco consist BNSF 5834 blocked the main south of the Jct on his way to the cement plant once the UP and the 5384 cleared BNSF 6202 ...

Two BNSF lead units #5962(ES44AC) and #9202(sd70ace) lead a northbound coal train over Pinon crossing with dpus #9851(SD70MAC) and #9491(SD70MAC). Pinon crossing is approx. 12 miles north of Pueblo Jct.
