#95 - Most Discussed (Today) - Gadgets & Games - All Once again I take on the abomination Midnight Spirit and Trial Force has created, Neo Sonic. I have to say this is one of the worst Mugen characters out there (let alone one of the most retarded looking) as he is just buggy all over him. His palettes are unstable, he tends to bug out into invincibility frames for no apparant reason, falls through the floor quite often, and even his own attacks bug out on him. His sprites are some of the fugliest I have seen, too, making this a shame to the true Sonic the Hedgehog... Also his Mugen History in his Read Me file is utter trash as it states "Sonic discovered that blue emerald increase his electrical ability" which is out-of-character bullshit. Anyways not only are those facts are the reason I hate this character but he was made into a cheap character as well. His attacks are really overpowered as one kick from this guy can do up to 100 damage on normal characters and his spammable and insta-recoverable Spin Dash ACTUALLY gives him Super Energy back after using a power bar up and can usually do up to 800 damage on normal characters. His A.I. is of a cheese type (Boss type would be something like Perfect Cell) as he spams his easily spammable Electroballs, Hadoukens, whatever you want to call them which can be devastating with it's high damage, little recovery time, and large size as they travel towards his opponents. His strikers are as cheesey as him, especially Knuckles, who jumps right in front of you to deliver unblockable jabs, and Tails, who shoots at you with an energy cannon for a good amount of time for Neo Sonic to get to you. The biggest highlight I believe in this video is when Sonci attempted to cheese all out by activating his Level 3 Blue Shield Super (which renders him invincible and you get stunned and damage when you make contact on him). Apparantly Ayu outwitted the blue bastard with the thanks of her Recoil Guard.

Simply put, he acts like in the original game until you blow up his machne, at which point only his Eggmobile remains and he desesperately flies around, dropping bombs that flash the screen.  | Ayu Tsukimiya (me) vs Yoma Komatsu Ayu Tsukimiya's battle this time around is against a rather very irritating opponent to fight based on a Japanese rockstar, Yoma Komatsu by Baby Bonnie Hood. She has a Gold Mode (uber cheap mode) but luckily I won't be fighting that palette as the original is quite overpowered in itself.  | JDM Mugen: Ghost Tetsu vs Neo Sonic I must say I hate Neo Sonic now after my many atempts to beat him and switch him to his easier AI (Which doesn't work, infact it makes him harder!) But I've found a pretty effective way to defeat Neo Sonic. A character who can parry such as Tetsu and POTS' characters or immunity to projectiles like Phantom Ryu. I will be using Ghost Tetsu as he is both immune to projectiles and he can parry. Stage: Shang Tsung's Island Music: Big Blue SSBM |
