At the end what I was trying to say was that if you try too hard to make your daughter feel beautiful, you may end up putting too much importance on appearances even though you're just trying to create for her a positive self image. (And I mean "you" in the Universal You way... I'm not trying to lecture you, Liz, because I think you're doing a great job raising your child. It's a HUGE thing that you're even addressing this issue and that you're thinking about how to avoid future problems before it's too late.)
