NEW ORLEANS 2009
Over their March break of 2009, Chartwell Baptist Church's high school youth group combined with the CEO service team from Muskoka Woods in order to make a difference in the post-Hurricane Katrina relief effort in New Orleans. Their mission trip consisted of gutting a neighbourhood house that hasn't been touched since the hurricane, putting on a church service for a juvenile detention center, and running afternoon programs for the local community.
Consequences: "It was just supposed to be a fight."
