Storms forming in Iowa during the afternoon hours of June 21st, 2007 quickly raced into central illinois. These storms evolved into a squall line and managed to produce 60mph winds and nickle sized hail near peoria and rapidly moved to the southeast. Around the Ford County area, the squall produced 45mph winds, deadly cloud to ground lightning and heavy rains.......a bonus for the farmers.
