Plano milling operation
Description:
The ram type milling head does heavy, but accurate material removal. 600 mm ram movement within 5 micron accuracy and with it's independent feed system permits accurate deep drilling and boring operation in a Plano mill. In combination with a DRO, you can virtually add jig boring capability to your plano mill. This type converted plano mills are the low cost answer for a all general purpose milling, drilling & boring operation, in single setting. Boring, facing operation in a value housing, traction motor frame can conveniently be done with this kind of plano mills.
