rollin between MP193 and 195 thru a slow order in little down town bentonia. kinda funny about this engine. it is the the IC 1000 and is a SD70. it was the very first SD70 i ever saw and much less got a look in. it was on display at family day at the jackson, ms. roundhouse. the funny thing is 14 years later it would be leading my very first road job as a student engineer for me out of memphis going south to my home town of jackson, ms. weird how that worked out.

GO Transit ride from Danforth GO Station to Toronto Union Station. New Years eve ride while snowing @ night! Would have been better but the darn wiper was broken and in the way. If you listen closely, you can hear the conductor say " Happy New Years".

Please set to high quality! This video was taken for me by a conductor. It is one of the BNSF unit grain train that ran on the Washington and Idaho. Here the train is just north of Oakesdale WA, with about 60 cars, roughly half of a 110 car unit train (with two dash 9's dpued on the end). The lead unit is a ES44DC, the unit the video is filmed from is a dash 9. This is about the closest most of us will get to riding the BNSF. It don't get much better that 8800 horse power in full throttle!...
