 | Cambodian car ferry Koh Kong - Phnom Penh - thailandreport One of the formerly 4 rivercrossings on the route from the Thai bordertown of Hat Lek to Sre Ambel (where road #48 meets with the # 4 highway from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh). This was executed in late April of 2008, meanwhile all 4 crossings can be done by bridges! It is located near the community of Sre Ambel which has a vivid Kher Rouge history and had been a notorious hangout for pirates and warmongers in the past. Crossing now takes under half a minute, not so bad compared to the hourlong processing by makeshift ferries. |
