Title:
My attempt at making Pizza! :D
Description:
I didn't want to eat canned soup *again* the other night, so I thought I'd try to make a pizza with whatever I had around in the kitchen..... o0 I sort of didn't have enough sauce...but yea....it was just for fun--I'm not a chef or anything...hehe! ^^ BTW, this video is kinda silly and dumb...so yea....fair warning! lol xD (: Recipe for the crust (if anyone wants it): [1 envelope] OR [1 cake] OR [6 oz] OR [2.5 tsp] of Active Dry Yeast 1 cup of warm water (100-110 degrees Fahrenheit) 2 cups of flour (plus an extra .5 to 1 cup of flour) .25 cups parmesan cheese 1 tsp sugar .25 to .5 tsp salt 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or olive oil if you want to be a bit more fancy...) Extra stuff that I didn't have at the time: 2 tbsp of cornmeal 1 extra tbsp of Parmesan cheese Soften yeast in the 1 cup of warm water in a bowl. Try adding a tad of sugar to get it going if it looks like it's not working... In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, Parmesan cheese, salt, sugar, and oil. Add yeast mixture. Mix and add enough of the extra flour to form a soft dough. It shouldn't be a sticky dough--but a soft workable dough. Knead about 20 times, cover, and let the dough rest for about 5 minutes or so (or longer...the longer you let it rise, the better it's supposed to taste, but to me it really doesn't make a huge difference....so..yea... 5 minutes works just fine...lol...). Grease the pizza pan. Extra stuff part that wasn't in the video: Mix about 2 tablespoons of cornmeal and 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese together and sprinkle on the bottom of your greased pizza pan for a bit of added texture to the crust. Spread dough on pan, prick with a fork to prevent large air bubbles forming, and add your sauce and toppings Bake in a 425 degrees Fahrenheit oven for about 15-20 minutes. It's definitely not New York pizza...just homemade pizza....Simple pizza! ^^
