Yoshi's Story 4-4 Neuron Jungle All Melons

Title:
Yoshi's Story 4-4 Neuron Jungle All Melons

Description:
Hopefully the audio's good in this... Anyways, not too much to point out. Except for the last area - after I go to the next area in 2:20, you need to get every coin in that area to get the last melon to appear. Another trick in the last area is to swim just above the bottom of the screen. I don't know why, but Yoshi picks up a lot of speed when he's low enough. Don't get too low, though, because you can actually die from going to the bottom of the screen. Also, I hate those frogs lol. Oh, and I guess I can point out around 2:13, where I almost messed up big time. That was almost bad... :)

Yoshi's Story 5-1 Lots O'Jelly Fish All Melons
This one was pretty easy. You're gonna see me mess with the camera and the fruit frame a lot in this one - I'm easily amused. There's no need to grab the heart fruits in the beginning - I just wanted to hear the music for a bit lol. Also, around 1:56, I get hit on purpose so I can hurry up and grab all the coins/fish in that area. Not much else I can point out... Oh, at the end - that's the only time I purposely hold R. What I noticed is, that the Shy Guys in the background will pop up the moment they're off screen. So since R zooms in on Yoshi, I hold it so that they get off the screen sooner than they usually do.
Yoshi's Story 5-4 Shy Guy's Ship All Melons
This stage is a lot of fun. Around 2:41, that shy guy that holds the melon doesn't spawn unless you're coming towards him from the left side. Kinda weird, but oh well. Also, at 3:04 - I almost died. Best close call I have recorded yet. :D
Yoshi's Story Credits
The ending to Yoshi's Story on the Nintendo 64. Fun game, especially if you're a Yoshi fan. The text changes depending on which levels you take, but it's not important. Basically, Baby Bowser was being a douchebag and stole the Yoshis' tree. After 6 pages, they get it back. The end. :P You gotta love the music, though. And before anyone judges, I wasn't going for a high score. I just wanted to beat the game and see the ending again... Another thing - you can see the people on my Trillian logging in and out for some reason. Unfortunately for you guys, though, you can't see any part of their sn; just part of their buddy icons. =P Due to the many requests I get from people who are searching for the OST, I have uploaded it onto Rapidshare. Yoshi's Story 6-1 Mecha Castle All Melons
Longest vid yet...But hey, I finally got up and did it lol. Around 1:00, if you're wondering why I didn't land on the cogs, look at 1:10. Every so often when I'm on a cog, when I push A, Yoshi just makes the sound that he jumps, but doesn't move at all. If this happens in between the cogs at 1:00, you get squished. At 1:45, a weird but not so obvious glitch happens, and I'm pretty sure I know how to get it to work. What happened is, that when I grab the melon and barely tapped the edge before falling off, since Yoshi is still in his "eating" animation, the game will still think you're on the ground and you're able to jump in mid-air! Kinda like the double jump in SMB2... (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't worry about it ^.^") As for the rest of the vid, I'm pretty sure it's self explanatory. The crazy mechanical thing that pushes together instantly kills Yoshi, so I take my time when I come across them. The pause before the mini game is just me taking a quick break before running through it all. (And as galeboomer said, I was most DEFINITELY scared when the Chain Chomp almost ate my melons at the end of the mini game. Thanks for bringing that up haha) And the Baby Bowser fight...I guess I couldn't get my thumb to push B right when I wanted to eat the Super Happy fruit. Gotta love how eerie the music is now. It matches with the insanely evil outline for the level. From being on a tropical island, to being inside a dark castle surrounded by large knives...
Yoshi's Story 3-4 Frustration All Melons
The final snow level! Also, sorry if the audio is too quiet - I tried increasing it, but apparently when I record the volume is too low now. I'll try to fix it so future videos aren't as quiet as this, but I'll have to do some experimenting... Oh, and for a level named Frustration, I moved pretty fast. At least in my opinion. The only frustrating part of this level was the Special Delivery mini-game near the end. (It's the mini-game where you have to carry 7 melon boxes to a certain point without letting them fall over. If you touch an enemy, it instantly drops.) That huge monster worm thing always gets me nervous, so I had to slow down a lot at that point. Also, I got cocky at the boss fight and wanted to get an extra egg. Instead, I just got hit in the face. -_-
Yoshi's Story 6-4 Magma Castle All Melons
Ah, finally - the final level to do this for. Normally I'd type a lot more, but I'm hungry, so I'll just let you guys point stuff out lol. Enjoy! Oh yea, w00t for 100 videos! Edit: Although I get the feeling they probably won't read this, a huge, omega, ZOMGTHATSXBOXHUGE thanks goes out to everyone that was cheering me on from the beginning. Never would've pulled through and learned part of the art of patience without you guys. :D
Yoshi's Story 6-2 Lift Castle All Melons
Sorry about taking so long on this one - getting ready to move mixed in with lots of laziness and a short attention span does suck up a lot of time. =P Anyways, as you might notice, the audio's a lot better in this than my other vids. Well, my slow self found a better way to record sound than having my volume turned up. Thing is, I can't hear the actual game sounds anymore...Not a bad thing, just gonna be weird if I record any music dependent games for now on lol. Now as far as the video goes...The mini-game I made such a fuss of is a lot easier if you just tap the control stick instead of constantly trying to get it to center. Don't know why I didn't think of that sooner...Also, I honestly never completed this mini-game up to this point, and I've always wondered what was in that bubble at 4:27, so I figured that time's as good as any to finally figure out! =) But oh well - enjoy!
Yoshi's Story - Bosses
The Bosses in Yoshi's Story. Enjoy!
Yoshi's Story 3-2 The Tall Tower All Melons
Ah, it's starting to get harder to find them at this point. That's ok, though - I still plan on doing this all the way up to 6-4, which is going to be insane... Anyways, not much to point out in this. Other than the explosion at 3:00. I miss the bubble, but I push the bubble into the explosion with my tongue. I didn't mean to, but hey, that's cool with me! =D
Yoshi's Story 4-2 Jungle Puddle All Melons
Those Blurps scared the crap out of me; I won't lie. Remember Sushie in World 3 of Super Mario Bros 3? They're basically the same, except there's two versions of Blurps. The red one just tries to eat you - plain and simple. The blue one squirts water at you and tries to knock you into the water SO he can eat you lol. Watch near the end - my thumb was fidgety, so I accidentally fall in the water. Yes, I was scared at that point lol. And from what I've experienced so far, this is the hardest Special Delivery mini-game I've gone through so far. (key words: so far) But that's ok - on to Piranha Grove... By the way, gotta love the tribal beat of this level's song. Seems to match perfectly with running from crazy fish.
