 | Rune Factory 2 Quick Preview-Dungeon and Battle Got the ROM yesterday and tried it in R4 Took a quick look around till my game comes Part 2 Dungeon Quick Exploring and Battle Now you can also move your character with stylus, not only d-pad You must generate the map for every dungeon by exploring by yourself You can see that my maps for every dungeon aren't complete yet since there are some fences that block my way, and for every dungeon, you can see that each of them has some sort of relic wall my guess is behind the relic wall might be a boss room or something special, and the way to the room will open if you've already explore the whole dungeon now im trying to plant crops in every fields available, because i dont have anymore idea about how to destroy these fences which blocking my way Those green portals are monster generator, but they will spawn again even after you destroyed it if you change your map That colorful triangle is save point Every cave has it's own season, and each of them have fruit tree which you can harvest Spring-Apple; Summer-Orange; Fall-Grape Oh, and when it's raining outside, you don't need to water your plant anymore even though your crops are inside dungeon it wont be raining in dungeon, but the soils are wet And Monster spawn will be different for day and night In the day, it'll be Reno, that apple monster wandering in the forest, but at the night it'll be MokoMoko (wolly in NA version) You can see that some livestocks monster wont attack you anymore when you try to tame it, but they can move so fast so your rub might miss and waste your precious rp You can equip both magic and physical skill now, Magic even have its own level skill now, which is pretty sweet you got fireball for free at the beginning of game, i still cant found out where to get another magic though i need medication...and most important, TELEPORT and ESCAPE! sorry if my character looks like he walked and attacked aimlessly, since i was a little confused with control in emu, but don't worry, it's not complicated at all, Monsters movement and attack accuracy are better though than RF Oh, and Kyle (main char default name) get a nice move too XD if you press the opposite button from the side which your character faced (like when he faced up/north, you pressed down/south), he can move like he dodges a sudden attack or something like that neat to see XD Mining, those rocks wont spawn again when you re-enter the cave You must wait till the next day to mining again Small flower can give you rp when you slash them and Rune from your crops now worth 50RP, double from before Part 3 will be 'Meet Townspeople' |

 | Rune Factory 2-Ending The real ending, i guess? Summer 29, 8th year (or actually 2nd, cause game skips 6 years when youre playing as Ars/Aria), lvl 67, same equips like before So in order to bring Kyle back from Forest of Beginning, you must defeat all bosses in every dungeon underground temple the bosses are come from RF1 and theyre ridiculously easy to defeat, you only need one more day from the 1st ending to get the 2nd ed Spring: Greater Demon Summer: Chimera Fall: Golem Winter: Grimoa after you defeated them for the first time (cause you can fight them again as many as you like), you'll get another piece of shard and after you collected all 4 of them, talk to Barrett to learn about Gate Reject to bring Kyle back after that...well just watch... Kyle's home You can give him gifts 3x a day (on the different time, morning, afternoon and night) and he'll even gives you another gift back I was expecting another neat video clip after 2nd ed, like a live happily after or happy family reunion or something like that but maybe that's too much for ds cart and this monster animation are pretty cute enough Time to play as Aria and see all BF's quests then~ ========================================== But i was not going into forest of beginning and i see no Raguna's tombstone I cant do anything anymore now, Kyle's back, No more boss to defeat, all key items....... ................ or this might be actually just another misinformation/hoax, like Kyle's being used one -.- so it means Kyle is NOT Ragna's son then, cause there's no real evidence except ive missed some clues in game Oh btw, i need wifi trading partner (2nd gen player only) for upgrading my aerial blade and dragonslayer into Star Saber and Rune Blade My FC: 3050-6568-9955 and my name is Arusu (in katakana) PM me if youre willing to help |
