Archive file footage from a building fire on Main Street in Torrington Connecticut. This is archive footage shot in 1997. The building is currently restored and occupied by Nutmeg Ballet / Conservatory for the arts. The fire was fought by Torrington Fire Department and Winsted Fire Department. This is a trailer for a documentary entitled "1:47" which explores a massive explosion which devastated downtown Richmond in 1968. The explosion and fire claimed 41 lives, injured hundreds more, and forever changed the future of the town. I served as the DP/videographer for the documentary, which premiered in April 2008.
