Family Reunion in Ulvik
Description:
On June 13, 2009 - 12 members of the family got together in Ulvik where my mother was born. Three of us came all the way from Australia - two came from Austria - three came from Spissoy - and four from Bergen to join our cousin and his family who still lives in Ulvik now. While we were there, we also visited Hjadlane Gallery for Contemporary Art in Osa, in the innermost part of the fjord, where we saw the paintings of Lars Gunnar Polden and had coffee and pancakes. When we returned, the yacht of a Russian Oligarch was anchored in the fjord and the video shows it leaving.
