 | Duba Plains, Day 4 (Part 1) On our last day at Duba Plains camp, we saw something we'd been waiting years to see: the lions hunting and killing a buffalo! This footage is split into two parts. This (part 1)is from the early morning when we were tracking the lions and the buffalo. At the end of this segment, you'll see the lions on the buffalo cow. We missed them bringing her down by only seconds! In the first shot of the kill sequence, you'll see one lioness to the rear batting at something in the water. It's the buffalo's calf. One of the male lions (the Duba Boys) eventually took it away and ate it out of sight. |
