My father passed away on July 7, 2007. He was a big NASCAR fan. Even though he had slipped into a coma, we put the race on in the room he was in. He took his last breath as the checkered flag waved. (Jamie McMurray won.) It seems poetic.

 | Coming into Greensboro, Alabama from the northeast This is a 1 minute clip from me and Cahaba riding into Greensboro Alabama on Centreville Street (Hwy 25). The first two houses are pre-1860. If you look closely, you can see the Welcome to Greensboro sign and two people on the first front poarch trying to keep cool on a July afternoon. We wind up at the Courthouse on Main Street. |
