New Jersey Transit Flxible Metro-B 40102 #3505 on the 181 (Interior #2)

Description:
Flxible Metro-B 40102 #3505 was on the NJ181 traveling along I-80/I-95 and US Routes 1&9 to the toll plaza to travel across the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, NJ. This clip takes us right into the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. It was a hot but less humid day in the city. The A/C was pumping so I could not get that good of a sound recording but now that these buses are about to be retired...I'm satisfied! Enjoy!

Flxible Metro-B 40102 #3505 was on the 181 traveling along Bridge Plaza (which is the last stop in New Jersey) and then getting to the toll plaza to travel across the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, NJ. This clip takes us to the toll plaza. It was a hot but less humid day in the city. Classic Bus (Ex-WMATA) Grumman Flxible "New Look" Model 53102-6-1 #8513 (Interior #2)
Classic Bus Owners Association (Ex-Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority) Grumman Flxible New Look 53102-6-1 #8513 was traveling along the Cross Bronx Expwy, then on the lower-level of the George Washington Bridge and onto I-80/I-95 combo in Fort Lee, New Jersey. I'm telling you, it was funny getting to this point as people were looking at us wondering, "WTF?" LOL! This bus is part of the Classic Bus Owners Association (CBOA) T. Rice, President. Enjoy!

A ride on NJT Transit Flxible #3239
I ride New Jersey Transit Flxible #3239 on Rt.400 from Camden, NJ to Philadephia, PA. These buses are 20 years old and currently being replaced by Cat C9/C13 and Cummins ISL powered Nabi buses. This bus had on the AC for most of the ride, but it had to be turned off in order to make it up the steep grade onto the Ben Franklin bridge. Powered by a Detroit Diesel 6v92 engine.
Lakeland Bus Lines MCI D4000 Cruiser #8731 on the 80
MCI D4000 Cruiser #8731 was on the 80 traveling "around" the South Ferry (Staten Island Ferry) Terminal in Lower Manhattan. I did not know that Lakeland had bus service in this part of Manhattan. I knew they go into the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan but no down here. Look at that lean as the bus makes his series of left turns. Nice job, huh? Enjoy!
The road of many highways
This is what it's like when you get off the George Washington Bridge in New Jersey. There are a lot of highways that start there.
Classic Bus (ex-New Jersey Transit) Flxible Metro-B 40102 #3529 (Interior #1)
Classic Bus (Ex-New Jersey Transit) Flxible Metro-B 40102 #3529 was traveling along I-84 somewhere in Connecticut and was on its way to Kennebunkport, ME via a stop in Boston, MA. This turned out to be an excellent trip up the East Coast. However, it was not so good coming back down as we had to travel through the ice and light snow...LOL! This bus is owned by Classic Bus Owners Association (CBOA) T. Rice, President. Enjoy!
