scrumdelicious, newfoundland luncheonette in toronto, ontario

Description:
this video is more of a personal tribute to a couple of old friends of mine that i used to visit every time i was in toronto, ontario. "scooter" Jimmy Everett who recently passed away in his mid 80's, a very good age i might say and he was the kind of fellow who lived life his way. worked hard all his life, raised a family including 2 girls, 2 boys & 1 adopted child. called "scooter" because he was a double amputee. never once did i hear a complaint from him nor did i ever hear an unkind word towards anyone as long as i have known him. god bless scooter wherever he may be today. 2nd is my good friend ossie branscombe who used to own & ran the country music store on danforth ave in east toronto for 30 years until he retired a few years back. he sold all the music records, tapes & cd's for all the local country, bluegrass, maritime & newfoundland artists and singlehandedly helped promote artists from the "Fogo island accordian group" to the late great "Harry Hibbs" & the many thousands of artists in between. also he is a walking encyclopedia of musical information. he's the one who everyone applauds when he enters the room.
