Very Late Coast Starlight on 12/21/08 (part 1)

A train can be late right. 20 or 30 min. Well the Coast Starlight has taken being late a little to far. A 8 hour and 15 min. delay can really ruin your travel plans. Because BNSF railway company has cancelled all Cascade service as of 12/21/08 and the Coast Starlight is running with EXTREME delays. This is the 8 hour and 15 min. late Coast Starlight making a stop at Davis, CA at 3:03pm. You would see the problem if you knew the schedule. This came in right after the two Capitals came in. It will be very interesting to see how late the Coast Starlight will be in the next few days. Hope you enjoy this video.  | Amtrak Coast Starlight Here is the northbound Coast Starlight train #14 arriving and departing Davis, CA. It was the normal consist with 2 engines, 1 baggage car, 1 crew car, 2 sleepers, 1 pacific parlour car, 1 diner, 1 observation lounge, and 3 coaches. It arrived at 11:47pm. 17 minutes late. There were no freight trains which if you know LRD90 should arrive at 11:15pm and LRE90 should arrive into Davis at 11:30pm. So they must have both been late. Hope you enjoy! See all other videos!  | UP 12/17/08 in Davis Sorry about the cutoff in the middle of the train. My batteries ran out right as it came in. That was the station clerk making the wrong prediction about the train. It was an empty manifest with only two engines. Don't worry there was nothing to special after the camera stopped. I have got new batteries now. Enjoy! RATE AND COMMENT ALL VIDEOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
