Jimmy Piersall Double
A clip from the 1955 clip film "Miracle on the Delaware." The Boston Red Sox faced the home town A's at Philadelphia's Connie Mack Stadium (formerly Shibe Park) during the 1954 season opener. The clip shows Red Sox batter Jimmy Piersall smashing a double. The A's, however, prevailed, winning the game 6-4. Google "piersall rounding first" for a panoramic motion study I made from this film.

Funny Commercial OLIVIA WATCHES 1970's
This is one of the funniest classic vintage commercials I have come across from the 1970's. They are selling Olivia Watches but the watch they show is a different name. This is hilarious. It ran in the Baltimore and Philadelphia markets in the late 1970's. I wonder if they sold any watches.
