The War of the Worlds #5 Thunder Child

Title:
The War of the Worlds #5 Thunder Child

Description:
Rey watches the valiant grey iron clad, Thunder Child, as it battles the terrifying Tripods. The battle determines the survival of the humans, or the victory of the Martian invaders. Lyrics There were ships of shapes and sizes, scattered out along the bay, and I thought I heared her calling, As the steamer pulled away, The invaders must have seen them, As across the coast they fired, Standing ferm between them, There lay Thunder Child! Moving swiftly through the waters, Cannons blazing as she came, Brought a mighty metal warlord, Crashing down in sheets of flame. Sensing victory was nearing, thinking fortune must have smiled, People started cheering, Come on Thunder Child! Come on Thunder Child! Lashing ropes and smashing timbers, Flashing Heat-Rays pierced the deck, Dashing hopes for our deliverers, as we watched the sinking wreck! With the smoke of battle clearing, All the graves and waves they fired, Slowly dissappearing, Farewell Thunder Child! Slowly dissapearing, Farewell Thunder Child! Please comment!

Animation final - War of the Worlds
Animation final from the Truemax drawing class of 2005. We where each to do a seperate animation, storyboard or animation-wise. I chose a scene from War of the Worlds, with music from "The Thunderchild" of the Jeff Wayne musical version. The text is danish and translates: "In the last days of the 19th century, the earth was conquered by the inhabitants of Mars. England was struck by the first of the cylinders, and running from the massdestruction, the survivors all sought towards the ocean and thereby for an escape out of England..." Note: Please don't haggle me about the art in this video. Its from 2005 and its a bit crappy XP So yeah.. I really want to redo this sometime, but I don't have the software for it, I'm afraid =/
The War of the Worlds #4 Forever Autumn
Rey carries on his search for Carrie and her father. But she has left for a boat out of England. Rey knows that that will be his next destination. But first he must run with a confused homeless crowd of people, away from the martian fighting machines. Song: Forever Autumn - Justin Hayward Lyrics The summer sun is fading as the year grows old, And darker days are drawing near, The winter winds will be much colder, Now you're not here. I watch the birds fly south across the Autumn sky, And one by one they dissappear, I wish that I was flying with them, Now you're not here. Like the sun through the trees you came to love me, Like a leaf on a breeze you bew awaaaaaay! Through Autumn's golden gown we used to kick our way, You always loved this time of year, Those fallen leaves lie undisturbed now, 'cos your not here. 'Cos you're not here. 'Cos you're not here! (instrument solo) Like the sun through the trees you came to love me, Like the leaf on a breeze you blew awaaaaay! A gentle rain poors softly on my weary eyes, As if to hide a lonely tear, My life will be forever Autumn, 'Cos you're not here. 'Cos you're not here. 'Cos you're not heeere! (Guitar solo) Like the sun through the breeze you came to love me, Like a leaf on a breeze you flew awaaaay! Through Autumn's golden gown we used to kick our way, You always loved this time of year, Thos fallen leaves lie undisturbed now, 'Cos you're not here. 'Cos you'r not here. 'Cos you're not here!
