Shelley Duvall in TIME BANDITS (1981)
After the intensity of The Shining, Shelley's projects took on a markedly lighter tone, starting with Robert Altman's live-action adaptation of "Popeye" in 1980 and this film one year later. In "Time Bandits," an action-adventure fantasy directed by Monty Python's Terry Gilliam, Shelley plays a short but hilarious double-role as a Renaissance dame who is reincarnated as a passenger aboard the Titanic.
