Description:
The first leg of our journey took us from Denver, Colorado to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I love Adobe architecture and possibly took too many pics of it!! We went off the beaten path and found an amazing chapel on a hill, built of adobe bricks and lodge poles in 1688.

 | ROAD TRIP 2007- DAYS 2/3 - Mesa Verde, Colorado Day 2 of our trip took us to the Taos Pueblo, New Mexico... unfortunately, my photos were corrupted during transfer. Only the first pics are of Taos, then we hit the road. On Day 3, we explored Mesa Verde, Colorado. The Balcony House cliff dwelling was constructed in the 1200's !! Amazing!! |

 | ROAD TRIP 2007 - DAY 5 - Joshua Tree Nat. Park, California We woke up in Lake Havasu, Arizona and took the long way, south to I-10 then west to California! We spent a few hours exploring Joshua Tree National Park, in and around the trees, cholla cactus, ocotillo plants and boulders. I wanted to use a Gram Parsons or Flying Burrito Brothers song because of Gram's love of Joshua Tree. But couldn't find one that seemed to fit. Emmylou Harris is a close second because of her deep connection to Gram, and this song is perfect ! |
