Dr Decherd - "TROT" is not really in my vocabulary...but I'll try a few steps :)

Description:
DD slowly healing from his stifle injury, sustained at the track. Renewed hope, that maybe ONE day, he'll be sound and ready to start his retraining to become a sport horse. He sure is bored, doing "nothing", and would like to get back to work!

Ru is a very sweet mare available for adoption! She is a 18-20 year old Thoroughbred mare and is so beautiful! She is not for a beginner, but a nice horse - just needs brushing up. She is 18-20 (supposedly) TB mare -- Since Ru has been back at the rescue she has not shown any lameness issues although we have been told that she has an ...

17 Hand Black Thoroughbred Mare
Hadley is one of the most elegant black thoroughbred mares on the market, and I bet the tallest. She is sticked 17 hands, she will not shrink when she arrives at your barn! She has an "A" WERK NICK with our white TB stallion ALLAMYSTIQUE who is shown in the brief video clip. The only reason RHF is offering her is to keep cash flowing in a ...

Icy Fortune - my retired racehorse
Icy was raced as a 3 year old. She had some issues that made me decide to retire her. She has been a handful at times, but always a pleasure to work with. Never doubting my decision, she has been the joy of my life. Enjoy this chronicle of her first 23 months off the track!
Annie's locked stifle
**UPDATE**- It was only locked for about 3 or 4 days, then it was back to normal. We haven't seen it since, but we're still watching carefully. FAST FORWARD TO 1:10 AND AFTER YOU SEE THAT FAST FORWARD TO 1:52. BEFORE AND IN BETWEEN THAT IS JUST TRYING TO GET HER TO ACTUALLY MOVE. I came to try out my new saddle on Annie and found her in the pasture barely able to walk- it took 3 people to get her out of the pasture. We don't know what's wrong, but we're going to get a vet out tomorrow. We ...
