Title:
project compassion #1

Description:
Epi 4-19 Project Compassion When a U-S soldier is killed in Iraq, Project Compassion steps in and how this special group helps is the focus of this week's Profiles In Caring. Kaziah Hancock was so moved by the stories of our fallen soldier heroes that she and other artists began painting every single one. The paintings are then delivered as a gift to the soldiers' families. Unfortunately there is no way for the artists to keep up with so many war casualties, but Kaziah and Project Compassion are committed to painting each one of our war dead. Join us as we spend a day with Kaziah and then follow the painting to a fallen soldier's home in Iowa.

Uganda trip - Caritas Australia - Project Compassion
A group of students from the University of Notre Dame in Western Australia traveled to Uganda, Africa in December 2007. The group explored the aid and development work of Caritas Australia in the poverty-stricken country. They also learned more about how Uganda has suffered from a violent conflict for the last 20 years. This video was made by Notre Dame student Greg Strangman using footage filmed by Peta Sanderson - Caritas Australia thanks them for their support.
