 | G.C. Cameron - It's A Shame The wonderfully talented G.C. Cameron, who has been credited with having six different voices, joined the Spinners at Motown in time to sing lead on the original version of this classic hit song, "It's A Shame". When The Spinners left Motown to join Atlantic Records in 1971, G.C. remained with the company as a solo artist, enjoying five single releases on Motown's West Coast label, Mowest, and then eight more singles on the Motown label itself, including a duet with Syreeta, "Lets Make A Deal". There were also three albums released by Motown. Being married to Berry Gordy's sister, Gwen, made G.C. an important member of the Motown family. Since leaving Motown, G.C. released a much respected album on the Malaco label, and a much loved independant single on Paul Mooney's Ardent label, before recording for Motorcity between 1989 and 1992. In 1989 he topped the bill of our TV show in Detroit, in conjunction with Kelly and Company. G.C. released four singles on Motorcity, this one, our remake of his Spinners classic "It's A Shame", followed by"Good Times Up Ahead", "No Need To Explain" and his duet with Martha Reeves, "You're All I Need To Get By", and we also released two albums, "Right Or Wrong", and "The Best Of G.C. Cameron". A truly marvellous talent. |

 | its a shame Dave Delay Dave Delay is a singer, songwriter and producer, living in Germany. He started his career in the 80's and toured Europe with Ten To Fall. When the band split in in 1996, Dave decided on a solo career and a year later released his first cd as a solo artist. In 2000, he converted his garage into a brand new studio producing music for adverts. Some of his clients were BMW, Wrighleys and Wella Hairdesign. He guided a musical as a producer and sound engineer in 2002, while he worked on his second album called New Generation of Rock 'n' Roll, which combined Pop Dance, Electro and Rock. He moved into his third and bigger studio in 2003 and continued to write and produce and in 2005 spent some time working on various productions in Los Angeles (USA). He was signed to Warner Musik Germany a year later and released a German single with vocals by Siggi Rose. This single was a hit in Germany, Austria and Spain. At the end of 2006, the first video of Dave Delay of the song "It's A Shame" was produced. This year he is working on a new album with a brand new sound, doing live performances and getting a lot of radio attention worldwide. |
