Lost in the Sundarbans Part 1
LOST is the TV show I've been waiting for all my life and it continues to excite me in ways no other TV show can. I went on a Sundarban (the largest mangrove forest in the world) trip a few years back with a large group of friends. I was just compiling random scenic footage but since Season One was fresh in my mind I asked some people to spout random lines for the camera (most of the lines were flubbed) and editied together later. The finished product kind of loses it's way near the end but I figure its not too bad for making up ranom things on the go.

Meltdown in Nepal
This programme focuses on the impact of climate change on the glacial ecosystem in the Himalayas and its people. It was filmed entirely in the Solukhumbu district, Nepal's biggest tourist draw with its access to several of the world's highest mountains, including Everest. In the documentary Payal Shakya (Miss Nepal 2004), First Conservation Ambassador, accompanied Sandeep Chamling Rai, climate change officer at WWF-Nepal on a trek to Imja Tsho and Dig Tsho glacier lakes, talking to local along the trail, may of them whose lives have been affected by glaciers melting the Himalayas.
Students take action on global warming
The WWF Allianz Southeast Climate Witness Program selected 24 high school students to engage in vulnerability research on the Southeast Rivers and Streams Ecoregion. These students earned the opportunity to work with scientists on their research and learn about climate change from some of the most active scientists in the field today. In Washington, D.C., the students had the experience to speak in a briefing on Capitol Hill in which Chairman Markey of the Select Committee on Energy Indepence and Global Warming greeted them as the Green Generation and encouraged them to continue to take action on climate change.
