Marshall & The Fro - Byron Bay March 2008

Title:
Marshall & The Fro - Byron Bay March 2008

Description:
We stumbled across these guys on the first night of the 2007 festival. Walking past the Beach Hotel we were drawn in by Marshall's unique and exciting guitar sound and technique. That performance is on Youtube by "SKUFF TV" for any who want to see it. Immediately addicted to the raw, gutt wrenching, ENERGY,(reminiscent of the early years of George Thorogood) we spent the rest of the weekend following them around to their hotel gigs (even missing John Butler to see them at "The Rails") and finally to the Festival itself in the Apra tent, a gig they earned by deservedly winning the "Buskers Competition". This video is the first song of their 2nd gig in the "Juke Joint" at the 2008 festival. They deserve better than that small venue. Hopefully next year we'll see them on one of the bigger stages and at a prime time. Good luck boys, come to NZ soon. (Would you like me to organise a tour for you?) :-)
