Spent Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, June 12th and 13th, 2009, chasing freight trains on the Union Pacific line between Baker and Huntington, Oregon. My family and I drive this route along Interstate 84 twice a year or so on our way to and from Utah, but I'm always frustrated that there's never time to stop and chase trains when we're trying to make the trip in less than a day.
