Was in 1992, Ryder it´s suppostly killed by Carl Johnson in the mission "Pier 69", but CJ didn´t kill Ryder at all, Ryder was asleep for some time. He waked up at the Vice City´s beach, and now he starts a new life wanting a revenge, he has to do some works to win money, travel to San Andreas and kill all Grooves.
