Champ Hood - Going to New Orleans - A Tribute

Title:
Champ Hood - Going to New Orleans - A Tribute

Description:
From Champ's solo CD Bon Haven. This song was written about Champ by the late Uncle Walt Hyatt, Champ's friend and musical cohort. The pictures are from all over the web and the soundtrack is from my CD of Champ. Champ Hood August 16th, 1952-November 3rd,2001. We miss you buddy. Thanks Niles Fuller aka austinphotographer on YouTube, that means do a search, for a couple of your copyrighted photos from 1984 (where did the time go?) and thanks everyone else. Oh yeah, and aka means: also known as. It's easy to forget the things you think everybody knows but sometimes don't. I do. I lost track of what came from where but if you want credit tell me which pictures are your's and I'll add that information here in the description. Forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me. Another rare clip, from ACL. It's hard to believe Walt and Champ are gone. I knew them many years ago when they lived in Nashville for a while. Nice guys.
Bomb Everything - Guess What
After yet another fruitless search for videos of Bomb Everything (formerly Bomb Disneyland before Uncle Walt's lawyers got involved) I decided to make one myself. Taken from their second album this is the title track. The band were around circa late '80s- early 90s and were among my favourite live acts at the time. They made an awesome amount of noise for a trio (duo the first time I saw them after losing their drummer just days before!) and were much under-rated IMHO. Still never seen a ...

Another clip from a greatly underappreciated band. Walt and Champ are now gone, but those of us that knew them can appreciate these old clips of an ACL show. Posting this in honor of the Hyatt family who are keeping Walter's memory alive.
