Pokemon Stadium 2 - Versus Rival Round 1
I wanted to try something different, so I decide to get out my Pokemon Stadium 2 Rom, and go fight the Rival in Round 1, as I haven't gotten to him in Round 2 yet. I pretty much owned him. My 3 pokemon seen did their jobs insanely well. I had 3 others too, but it seems they weren't needed. This vid also shows why Pimperior is awesome, even considering 2nd gen's lack of Rhyperior evolution, as well as Rhydon's lack of Megahorn learnability. And if you didn't know already, Pimperior is also one of my 2 mascots and most used Pokemon on my Pokemon Pearl/Battle Revolution team. The 3 pokemon not seen in the video are Jaws the Feraligatr, Kracken the Special Tank Tentacruel, and Dogadon, my awesome Shiny Charizard(Which was Purple in 2nd gen. They look SO much better in 4th gen).

Pokemon Stadium - Segment 3
View All: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=83DBE1662C619EEE HQ: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-jmCgdUi0o&fmt=18 Using the same team now we tackle the Cascade Castle. This run is almost perfect, if it wasn't for that Thunder miss. Battle 1: Jolteon. Must hit three Thunder in a row. It seems the first Thunder has about 60% chance to miss. Also if you meet Wartortle your chance to miss is about 80%. Battle 2: Zapdos. This battle is very very hard to do perfectly. Zapdos outspeeds and ohkos only three pokemon: Seadra, Pidgey and sometimes Jigglypuff (sometimes not). Zapdos can't ohko digglet (duh), and 2hkos kadabra and voltorb, but goes second so not even dreaming for a critical hit helps. In theory Moltres would be a better deal, but Seadra comes up about 80% of the time. So in summary you must hope those three pokemon come, your Thunders must not miss, and you must ohko Jigglypuff. Battle 3 - Zapdos. Your Thunders must not miss, you must ohko all your opponents (Clefairy if any must get ch'ed). Battle 4 - Jolteon. Luckily is an all water team. Your Thunders must all hit. So a perfect run requires twelve ohkos using twelve successful Thunder hits in a row. I initially had Gengar there because somehow I thought it was a good idea for the first battle... It doesn't ohko three pokemon... so no, its a bad idea... for segmented a least.
