Norton Shores officials face "significant" repairs to the Merrill S. Bailey Bridge on Henry Street after an 18-foot section of curb pavement plummeted several feet Tuesday to an eroded soil bank of Mona Lake. The bridge was closed Tuesday morning after damage was discovered to the northeast approach to the 19-year-old structure.
