THIS IS THE ACTUAL DOCUMENT which had a first showing in Bedford, Virginia several years ago, and was filmed at that time. A YouTube-mandated ten minute abridgement of a film made in 2007 at the Babcock House, four miles from the McLean House. The occasion was an event held at the Babcock House, and Confederate Pictures was privileged to record the rehearsal prior to the event. Dave Palmer stars as General Robert E. Lee and Tony Daniels is General Ulysses S. Grant. Dave and Tony are the generals of choice for these two roles, and Confederate Pictures is pleased to work with these men whenever these roles are needed. The house in the opening shot is the actual rebuilt McLean House from the original surrender, just down the road from the Babcock House.
