Returning Soldier Gets New Truck! Surprise! Totally Stunned!
U S Army soldier, Jeremy Tusa, is surprised with a new 2008 Toyota Tacoma truck (his dream vehicle) upon return home to Houston during a weekend leave (stationed at Ft. Drum, NY - 10th Mountain division, 2-14). Jeremy is near completion of his four year commitment to the military (including two years deployed in Iraq). We are very proud of Jeremy and all of our brave soldiers who risk their lives serving our great country and protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day! Welcome home, Jeremy! Update: Jeremy is back home in Houston, Texas. He has his own ("very sweet")apartment and is enrolled in college (degree in Logistics). And, yes, he is "burning up the roads" in his new truck! Filmed on April 11, 2008 at Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport by Allison ("Alabama") Tusa.

A Final Salute
In May of 2006 a unit of Marines returned home from a deployment in Iraq. Four of their brothers did not return home alive. This is their memorial service. I have never seen anything like it before. I went with a reporter, but I decided that a reporters' voice would take away from the true feeling of the ceremony so I decided to edit the package and let the soldiers tell the story in their own words. I really love this piece. Photographer: Jacob Unger Editor: Jacob Unger
