COPS Film Crew On Tape - Pierce County - June 1992
Description:
Fathers Day June 22, 1992. At the time I was not aware that COPS was taping in Pierce County. I thought it was another news crew. This was a sad story. A double murder suicide in which the father killed the mother, his infant son. He also shot his daughter before turning the gun on himself. The young daughter survived the shooting. I learned that this was the COPS crew while watching COPS and this was a featured story. It's also the only time I've been on COPS. They used a shot of me taping the scene with my camera. When that episode airs again I hope I remember to turn the DVR on.
