This is a quick video of my customized Accucraft C-19 Locomotive. It was manufactured to look like RGS #41 did in the 40's, but I wanted it to look the way it did at Knott's when I was a kid in the 60s and 70s. I copied the pilot, stack, oil lamp, and other details from postcards and available photos from the early 60s. If you're not a fan of Knott's, I'm sure you'll hate it!

This is a simply gorgeous 7-1/2 " gauge (scaled to 3'...)model of RGS #41. It is coal fired so it smells as good as it looks! And it is HUGE! Scaling the 7-1/2" track to 3' gauge means the engine is 2-1/2" to the foot scale, rather than the typical[-for std. gauge] 1-1/2" . It was built by Ken Burns, the Beards and others at the Salinas Valley Model Railroad Club. Live steam RGS Rio Grande Southern #41 narrow gauge 2-8-0
