 | The Giving Greetings to all. This small film was inspired by an anonymous act of kindness done to me on my birthday (a Tzedakah). This one thoughtful act quickly snowballed into several life-touching events and has reached so many, and has changed me forever. So, I wrote a story song about it and made this little film I call The Giving. I chose photos of friends and family who volunteer and donate to various charities; Breast Cancer, Homeless shelters, Women' shelters, AIDS and Parkinson. Not all the photos are people I know. To name a few, Angelina Jolie, Michael J. Fox, Brad Pitt, Melina Kanakaredes, Ellen Degeneres, Madonna, Rosie O'donnell or any actor presented. I only featured them because I admire their use of their celebrity; bringing to the light of the media, world and health issues. I've been asked a lot about the black and white photo at the end of the film. It's my Grandmother, who volunteered as a teacher at Gila River Japanese American Internment Camp during WWII.
