The two nice, hot girls, who were dancing for us, you could see later also in the Allnighters "Black is Black"- Video that I made" HISTORY: In 1995 Michael Schürger and Christoph Schlappa (fans of the sixties Raumpatrouille Orion series) decided to come out with a house version of Raumpatrouille. The Orchestra version war written by Peter Thomas (Jerry Cotton, Edgar Wallace Score and many more) Thomas liked the KOSMOS version. Schürger: "One day there came a fax and Thomas made a remark, because, we had a version with one wrong note" So we changed it. Schürger and Schlappa decided to let Michael Nehrig support technically the production in the RPm Studios in Krefeld-Uerdingen( that time Nehrig was promoted as DJ Planet ) Using sounds from the original sixties black and white ScFi (like the "frogs" and many more sounds) absolute new sounds were born for this production and in the whole techno/house scene that has been used later on in many more tracks. Schürger, who did music videos for productions as Sequential One ( ATB ), Allnighters , Interactive ( Ramon Zenker ), Paragliders - Oliver Lieb - and many more, was disappointed with the big major Sony, when he found out that they did almost nothing to promote it. "It' s like Bayern Munich: They make a contract with you, they make promises and then you find out, you are there because they do not want you be at another club." So another much smaller label came out later to be succesfull with the Raumpatrouille. The Raumpatrouille ( later the Kosmonova Version ) was more than 3 month in the german media control charts and on millions of samplers worldwide. In 2002 a Remix with Schürger voice took place in the dance charts.(Schürgers voice was also on many other tracks like from Aquagen, Tom Gerhardt etc.) Today Schürger is involved in many non-profit Projects from all kind of music. About Raumpatrouille he said: "At that time we did so many music videos for some good house tracks and a lot of bad house tracks. We wanted to proof that with a good idea you can have a success, even if you are not part of the music industry.
