On the top of Mount Katahdin, Baxter State Park Maine
Two friends and I climbed to the top of Mount Katahdin on July 26th, 2008. We left the roaring brook parking lot at 0630, went to Chimney pond (arrived around 0830 and from there took the Dudley trail to the top of Pamola Peak arriving at around 1045, from there we then took Knifes Edge, to Baxter Peak arriving around 1215. We stayed up there for about an hour and began our decent at approximately 1320 and descended down the Saddle Trail, from there we went back to Chimney pond and returned ...
