The snow was hitting our faces (it hurt), that was why Riley was walking backwards. Total snowfall accumulations should range in the 1-2 foot category. Gusty SW winds 20-30mph will also accompany this storm with temperatures today falling into the 20s. Travel will be treacherous Monday with occasional blizzard like conditions. Snow will taper off to showers by tonight into Tuesday as low pressure moves out. Wednesday through the weekend, high pressure will build in, bringing fair & dry weather as temperatures climb back to seasonable levels. It was the only day of absence for Riley. He could have gotten the Perfect Attendance award for 2008-09 but failed because of this mishap (err.. adventurous mishap). The car got stuck in the deep snow halfway down. We could not drive the car to the driveway. Whenever the car was halfway up the hill, the car would stop and it would just slide down the hill backwards on its own like a sled (scary). 1:24 the camera jerked, then Dad and Riley looked because I slipped, screamed and fell on the snow.
