 | Chameria - Çamëria - Forever Albanian Çameria is included in today's Epirus mainly Thesprotia, Janina, Arta and Preveza prefectures. It was annexed to Greece before and during WWII. In 1944 Greek forces led by N. Zervas committed genocide which led to many innocent Albanian civilians killed from ethnic cleansing and their lands were confiscated by the Government and given to landless Greek refugees from Turkey and Vlach shepherds.
