6th st cedar rapids
Description:
I was in the area for an interview and I thought up the suggestion , (since where I was was on 1st street ) to visit a house mom lived in from 1953-55 on 6th st in cedar rapids, Just to see if it was still standing. Don't know if it's condemned or what. But it's dirty but looks alot better than the other houses in what looks like a spooky ghost town. Mom grew up in Cedar Rapids. Having lived there from the 50-70's. Yall can ignore the chatter in the background. Mostly gasps and what not. It really doesn't hit you until a person sees it themselves. (PS I would not gawp at peoples distress. But it was more mom used to live there and I'll be sending her siblings to this video. She lived there with 2 brothers and a sister. Albeit the sis doesn't have access to a computer :( She used to , would love to see her online again.
