 | NegATivLand e WHY DO YOU TUBE these NegATivELand clips are all part of one film, a 1995 documentary titled Sonic Outlaws, by Craig Baldwin. Negativeland is San Francisco based band, project, "a musical collective of flopheads". originally, i wanted to post the whole film in one piece, but there is a size limit to any clip uploaded on YouTube, as you all know, namely 10 minutes and/ or 100 MB. not even a so-called "director" account can help it... however, considering the Negativeland's own methodology, technics and tactics, it is not a bad idea after all, to cut the movie into pieces and let the viewers put together their own version of it. consequently, i'm not uploading them in any particular order, nor am i giving any clues as to where is the beginning, and where is the end. is there an end to it? no, the story goes on, Negativeland is still very much and alive! so, if you like these clips, check the Land at http://negativland.com for more on the documentary check http://www.othercinema.com/filmography/sonout.html |
